If you haven't attended a single class....

Perhaps with this article I can start a chain of the "if..." articles about students' life. As you can remember my previous article was discussing a problem of the classes after a hot party the day before.

This time I would like to tell you a story that maybe is not very common for every student, but still can happen to anybody. This story happened to me a few weeks ago. Actually the whole matter concerns mostly my younger sis, who is a four-year student.

So, I don't know for what reasons, but during the semester she hasn't attended a single class of Spanish. I guess that she thought of her Spanish when it was high-time to take a credit. And the several days days before her credit she came and told "Damn, I need to take a credit!!! What should I do? I haven't even seen the teacher".

I couldn't believe my ears when she started to persuade me of taking a credit instead of her. Sure, I didn't agree at first, but then I thought "What is the difference, if the teacher hasn't seen her".

So, I did it, I took that credit. Fortunately, I have been studying Spanish for 3 years, but I haven't practiced it for about a year. Thus, I could only read and translate pretty well. But when I started speaking, it seems the teacher wasn't inspired. After that I invented a lachrymose story explaining the reasons why I was absent. Finally, she took pity upon me and gave me a credit.

It is a real story! Don't think it's my imagination. And with this story I just want to say that there are no hopeless situations. You have to try all the methods, and the solution will be found! So, GOOD LUCK EVERYBODY!!!

If you were clubbin' all night long...

I guess clubbing and having parties is the most favourite activity of every student. You would definitely agree that parties are the integral part of college years. Still, parties do not always happen on the weekend. Sometimes a party can be arranged in the middle of the week when you have classes the next day.
Yeah, it's a real disaster this next day when you are sleepy and have a headache. But for some reasons you can't miss this or that class and you have to suffer the whole day.
I can tell you whatI was doing in such situations. I attended my classes, but managed to have a sleep! You know what I did? First, I tried to sit somewhere in the back row. I know professors are a bit suspicious about those sitting in the back row. Still, it's the best place to sleep.
And then I just pretended that I was writing something down holding my head with one hand. It really worked and none of my professors noticed that I was sleeping.
Actually I did it quite often because I LOVE parties. The main thing that you have to do the next day is overcoming somehow that sleepy state. A headache can be easily removed with a couple of Aspirin pills.
So guys, do not miss the parties because of the classes that you may have the next day. After graduating you will recollect them as the best moments of your student life, and you will not regret that you were sleeping in class, not at home.
And don't worry about information you can miss. Just take somebody's notes or a textbook and find enough time for studies. This is going to be a small atonement for your love of the parties.
